Our Merlin IIIA aircraft is a nine- passenger twin turboprop manufactured by Swearengen Aircraft Company in San Antonio, Texas. This is a shortened, executive version of the well known Metroliner commuter aircraft that served the public for many years.
The aircraft interior is equipped with an enclosed private lavatory and separate pilot compartment. Additional amenities include a refreshment bar complete with complementary coffee, bottled water, juice, soft drinks and snacks. Alcoholic beverages available upon request.

The aircraft is designed and certified to be flown with a single pilot and a second pilot is available upon request. The quality of the navigational systems are far superior to those of most regional and commuter airlines with an approach certified GPS system containing a Terrain Avoidance Warning System that enable the pilots to safely and accurately operate this all weather aircraft in the mountains in any weather. The Merlin IIIA aircraft can cruise at over 300 miles per hour at an altitude up to 28,000 feet with maximum range of 2,400 miles (San Francisco to New York).
The Merlin IIIA is a large aircraft that is equally as comfortable and more impressive than many smaller corporate jets and is much more economical. It has a wide quiet cabin with large windows. It has a roomy baggage capacity of up to 800 lbs. The passenger baggage is accessible during flight.
